Tom's Spicy White Chicken Chili
Serves 8
Ingredients:
- 42 ounce jar great northern beans
- 49 ounce can chicken broth
- 4 ounce can diced green chilies
- 4 ounce can diced jalapenos
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 bunch green onions
- ¼ cup diced celery
- Monterey Jack cheese (optional)
Directions:
- Combine great northern beans, chicken broth, green chilies, and jalapenos in a large crock pot.
- Bone chicken breast and slice into large pieces. Add to crock pot.
- Cube green onions. Sauté green onions and celery. Add to crock pot.
- Cover crock pot. Cook on high for 5 hours. Shred chicken breast pieces and return to pot.
- Serve in bowl. Add Monterey Jack cheese to flavor.
